**THIS IS NOT MY RECIPE OR IDEA, THIS IDEA WAS TAKEN FROM ANGELA'S ADVENTURES!!**
Now onto something SWEET! CAKES in a JAR. CUTE. DELICIOUS. EASY.
Make a cake, divide it and use food coloring to color it, or don't color it at all. I choose pink and orange because I love those colors!

Wash and dry small jars.
Spray your clean jars with non-stick cooking spray. Scoop the cake batter into the jars, being careful to keep the sides and rims of the jar clean. First I scooped in the pink and then I scooped the orange on top.
Put the jars on a cookie sheet and bake for about 35 minutes (or whatever your cake directions say), in a pre-heated oven, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool thoroughly and then decorate! It works best to pipe on the frosting so, it doesn't get on the sides of the jars.
Once the cakes are decorated, put lids on the jars, and decorate the lids. I glued a ribbon around the lids and made a cute little sign for the top of the jars.
