Coupon Lingo, What does it really mean?!?

First off Sunday Inserts:

We refer to these as:
SS - Smart Source
RP - Redplum
P & G - Proctor & Gamble

Coupon Wording:

One per purchase: Means One coupon per item Purchased.

One per transaction: Means Only one "like" coupon can be used per transaction.

Only 4 "like" coupons per transaction: Means you can use 4 of the same coupon in the same transaction. {This rule is for P & G coupons}

$1.00/1, $2.00/1, etc: One dollar off one product, two dollars off one product, etc.

$1.00/2: One dollar off 2 products

BOGO: Buy one item, get one item FREE!

BOGO 50% off: Buy one item at full price, get the 2nd item 50% off

B1G1, B2G1: Another way to write ‘buy one, get one’.  The “B” stands for “buy”, the G stands for “get”.  The numbers indicate how many of a product you must buy to qualify and the number of products you get when you redeem the coupon or offer.  

B1G1= Buy one, get one.  B2G1= Buy two, get one B2G2= Buy two, get two

OOP: Out of Pocket

MIR: Mail-in-Rebate

OYNO: On your next order

PSA: Prices starting at

ECB: Extra Care Bucks

RR: Register Reward

UP + Reward: Rite Aid Rewards Program

Catalina: A printed coupon

WYB: When you buy

Peelie: Manufacturer coupons found on product.  May be a manufacturer coupon or a store specific coupon.

Hang Tag: Coupon hanging from bottle of soda, juice or white!

Tearpad: Manufacturer coupons found on a tear pad in a grocery store, drug store, mass retailer near product coupon is for, can be redeemed at any store.
Blinkie: Manufacturer coupons dispensed by coupon machines found in grocery aisles next to products.  Recognize them by the blinking red light.
